Dingneng Wang Trail Marathon

May 7, 2022 @ 5:30 am UTC+0
$10 – $20

Cutoff is 5:40hrs, limit to 25 runners. This year the course will be almost the same with 2018’s, but in reverse direction so counter-clockwise this time. it will be on 5/4 5:40AM with a cutoff time of 5:40hrs (yeap I like numbers game). This is a single loop pure trail marathon start and end on Los Penasquitos Canyon (PQ) . You start from PQ east (Canyonside Park), run through Del Mar Mesa, Deer Canyon, Gonzales Open Space to Coast to Crest Trail, then run through Crest Canyon and Torrey Pines Extension to Torrey Pine State Beach, take the Los Penasquito Marsh Natural Preserve (trailhead right across the Torrey Pine South parking lot), from Sorrento Valley Blvd enter PQ Trailhead West, take the Penasquitos Canyon Trail south side all the way back to Ranch House Cross and finish this most scenic loop of 26.7 miles.
It’s a fat ass event, no course marking, no award, no refund, no transfer. There will be water and food on three aid stations and each has a strict cutoff time.
