Ha Ha Half
In 2018, we held a free event at Ha Ha Tonka State park called the Ha Ha Half. You’ll find pictures of that event on our Facebook page, @HaHaHalfMarathon. While the park allows free group runs, they don’t allow paid, sanctioned runs. That led to the decision to move the race to Lake of the Ozarks State Park. As a result, Trail of Four Winds 25K made its debut in 2019–new race, new distance, new name. It was a sellout, and an absolute blast. Now, Trail of Four Winds 25K is one of three races in the Lake of the Ozarks Trail Series.
2020 has been the year of race cancellations, postponements and virtual runs. This led to the decision to have two of the races in the Lake of the Ozarks Trail Series portfolio as virtual races from the get-go. We hope you find it a useful tool in your motivational toolbox to help inspire you to log some miles through the holidays. Perhaps run with a group of friends and log your race at the same time.
