If you are looking for a destination race in the state of Florida this is THE race to do….if you are up for a challenge and can take care of yourself. Out and back from Hobe Sound Beach to Lake Okeechobee and back. Mostly single track remote rugged trails. You must be able to take care of yourself. You will have four 5 gallon drop buckets 15.5 miles apart. You need to plan, execute your plan, stay on the trail, and Just Survive. Race is limited to 20 runners (10 signed up so far), no wait list. No crews, no pacers, no aid stations, no GPS watches to keep you on course…nothing. Just you vs the course. Do your homework before signing up. Anyone completing the course within the rules and under 48 hours will receive a very nice buckle with a small donation to Team Lujan.
