Le Bélier
In the Aravis mountain range, west of Chamonix, the village of La Clusaz presents a historic trail event which has been running since the 1980s. The weekend of trail races starts on Friday night with ‘La Montée Sèche’, a short mass start race up to the summit of the Beauregard gondola. The three distances of 42 km, 27 km and 7 km can also be combined to make a three day event known as ‘The Super Bélier’ – By the end of the marathon on Sunday you will have seen the Aravis mountains from every angle! New for the winter, the first edition of the 11km winter race ‘Le Bélier Blanc’ takes place on January 12th 2019.
