Distance: 10M7K – Description:
Announcing the 2021 Hybrid Little River Trail Races!
Registration opening on December 1, 2020
Due to the pandemic, and in compliance with a request from the Orange County Health Department the 2021 Little River Trail Runs will be a hybrid event. What does this mean (besides the fact that we are going to miss you all on race day)?
Instead of an in-person race, the 10 mile and 7k courses will be marked and maintained between January 9, 2021 and January 24, 2021. Participants can run either course (or both!) on the day of their choice, during park hours. We’ll ask you to send us proof of your run (such as a Strava or Nike Run Club screen shot, or a selfie at the park and your watch showing the mileage…really almost any “proof” you can provide).
Finishers will be entered into a drawing for some great prizes from our sponsors @bullcityrunning @balancedmovement @nealsdeli @openeyecoffee @carrborocoffeeroasters. All registrants will receive one of our awesome long-sleeved race t-shirts. We know how popular our shirts have become in recent years, so this year we also will make extra shirts available for purchase.
Registration will open December 1.
