The Mt. Baldy Run-to-the-Top trail race is an annual Labor Day fundraiser. It’s one of the most popular and challenging mountain trail races in California, held on Mt. Baldy in the Angeles National Forest. From the start line at 6,300 ft., the Run-to-the-Top covers 7+ miles with 4,000′ of total elevation gain. The final mile, the steepest, is above timberline. The finish is on the summit of beautiful Mt. San Antonio (Mt. Baldy) at 10,064′. The race is timed and is sanctioned by USA Track and Field.
