The Mt. Hood 50 is three races just south of Mt. Hood in Oregon.
The 50-mile race that is run almost entirely on the Pacific Crest Trail and the trail is generally soft with good footing, although there are some technical sections with rocks and roots. Total elevation gain is approximately 5,630 feet. This race is on Saturday.
The 50K is on the Pacific Crest Trail but finishes by going around Timothy Lake. This race is on Sunday
The 25K starts out on the Headwaters trail around Clackamas Lake, then continues north to the end of Timothy Lake and where runners join the 50K route to go around Timothy Lake. This race is on Sunday.
Each race has views of Mt. Hood and all start and finish at the Historic Clackamas Ranger Station.
