Ortler Sky Trails
These races take place in the region of South-Tyrol in Northern Italy, not far from the Swiss and Austrian borders. Starting in Sulden am Ortler, and amongst some of the highest mountains in the Alps, the longer races hit elevations just above 3000m. Each of the five races are set in incredible scenery – they are; the Selvio Ultra Trail, Orlter Sky Marathon, Orlter Glacier Trail, Ortler ronda Classic or the Ortler Vertical.
It’s also possible to do a week long training camp in May if you’d like some preparation with like-minded souls. Or if you fancy volunteering please contact the race director – you will be able to enjoy the views without having to run 73km! Ortler Sky Trails grew out of the Ortler Mountain Challenge for ALS , an event organized to create awareness about ALS and gather funds for ALS research.
