Mountain ultra-running at it’s best. The Silverton Ultra Dirty challenges you, push your limits, teases your senses as you journey along these AMAZINGLY SPECTACULAR 100M, 100K & 60K courses. The 100M race starts in Durango at the southern terminus of the Colorado Trail and runs north on the Colo Trail and runs the last 39 miles with the 100K course. All three distances run many miles along the most spectacular section of the Colorado Trail and on 10 stunning miles of the Hardrock 100 course. The SUD is a remote, high mountain, single-loop course with 98% single-track trails. Placed perfectly on the calendar to hit the peak of wildflower season and roaring waterfalls, you will run in complete awe of the magic of the San Juan Mountains. With approx 24,500 ft of climbing/descending in the 100M, 12,631 ft. in the 100K, and 7,337 ft in the 60K, with 60% above 11,000′ elevation these courses are without a doubt challenging . . . but if it were easy it wouldn’t be worth it.
