Sommer Gommerlauf
For the people of the Upper Valais, Goms region, the Gommerlauf is the highlight of the summer! The challenging half-marathon runs on the Gommer Waldweg (forest path) and the Rottenweg between the villages of Obergesteln and Reckingen. Allrounders will feel comfortable here. This race is part of the Oberwalliser Laufcup. The 10.5 km race is also demanding, starting at the Nordic center in Ulrichen, the path goes towards the village of Geshingen and back, taking in 300 m of elevation over the distance. Like the half marathon, this race is also suitable for allrounders.
