5K – Description:
Voted the best skyline in the world by USA Today, The Urban Ultra Dallas will showcase some of the best views of the Dallas skyline. The only race that is run entirely on the Skyline trail, participants will enjoy electric views, music, food trucks, a flat fast loop course consisting of mostly pavement with a small portion of gravel road, and much more.
We will start the races in the afternoon and watch the skyline and night come alive as the sun goes down. This is an urban trail run mainly on paved trails. The course will be run at night so racers will need to bring a headlamp. This race is designed to allow road runners to crossover and get the trail experience.
If you are looking for a unique experience, a course designed for PRs or to break into the ultra scene, then this is the race for you.
