Tor des Glaciers
Taking place in the Aosta Valley in northwest Italy, the Tor des Glaciers is an impressive new Ultra; even bigger than the epic Tor des Geants. This exceptional new event is to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Tor des Geants. The remote route follows the paths of Alte Vie 3 and 4, and support is only available from the refuges passed along the way. Excellent physical and mental strength is of course necessary, as well as knowledge and experience of high mountain environments. If you have run the Tor des Geants already, this is certainly your next challenge.
