Trofeo Monte Chaberton
Taking place in Cesana Torinese, west of Turin and near the border with France, this race is part of the Italy Skyrunning series. It starts at 9 am, and reaches a high point of 3130m at the summit of Monte Chaberton, midway through the race. Along the way, there are two aid stations – plus the chance to cross one of the longest suspended footbridges in the world! The vertical 2km race sets off at the same time from Fenils, then heads straight up to Monte Chaberton. A smaller race of 9km with 300m of height gain is also on the schedule.
