Writers Who Run 10k Trail Race
The Writers Who Run (or Walk) 10k Trail Race is a one-of-a-kind trail run that appeals to writers who run (or walk) and runners who write. With famous, inspirational quotes about running along the course, it’s better than having your own personal cheering section in a marathon. The 10k course is a hilly, intermediate, almost out-and-back route, with a narrow 2.5 mile loop at the top including a 62-foot bridge crossing over a riparian rock outcropping. You will have approximately 1.2 miles of asphalt before entering the trailhead and finishing up with 0.6 miles of asphalt to the finish line. The course is well marked with one-of-a-kind inspirational quotes every half mile or so.
