Hagg Lake Mud Runs

An Oregon classic ultra since 2001, the Hagg Mud Runs is a race you’ve got to try at least once. If you’re looking for a mid-winter challenge, look no further than the ORRC Hagg Mud Runs – a 50k and 25k on the muddy, rolling trails around Hagg Lake, just outside of Portland. A fantastic event for the first time trail runner as well as the experienced trail vet, the Hagg Mud Runs offer an old school ultra experience with all of the perks of the newest races. Enjoy fully stocked aid stations, a well marked course, finishers swag, and hot lunch with celebratory beer when you finish. If you’re looking for a little extra challenge, consider the Hagg Mud Double; run both races (one on Saturday, one on Sunday) and earn a growler full of your favorite beverage.
