L’Échappée Belle
This event takes place just south of Albertville in the Savoie region of France. It has become very popular since it first started in 2013 and now attracts top-level trail runners. Runners have the choice of three courses: the Intégrale (149km), Traversée Nord (87km) and Parcours des Crêtes (62km). The Intégrale consists of 90 percent single-track and takes runners from 271m to a high point of 2892m at Belledonne Cross. All three courses provide beautiful views of the surrounding lakes and mountains.
